http://www.horse-books-pony-stories.com/index.html It is for Sharon's Corner Bookstore. On it, you will find a list of horse books for all ages—both fiction and non-fiction. What makes this site special, is that they feature small publisher and independently published books (like mine) that you may overlook at the big retailers. Sharon doesn’t sell the books. She set up her website just to help authors and readers connect. She directs you to the authors’ websites where you can get more information.

Beech Brook Farm Equine Rescue
Beech Brook Farm is a small rescue that specializes in gaited horses in Mystic, CT. It is run by Deborah Finco and her daughter Ariel Kent—our very own gaited horse specialist. Currently, they have a rescued Missouri Foxtrotter mare with an unhandled foal at her side that they rescued from a kill pen.
If you are interested in learning more about their organization, volunteering or donating, their website is www.beechbrookfarm.webs.com

I am mostly a trail rider who dabbles in Limited Distance endurance when there are close and convenient rides. I look at Endurance Rides as really long trail rides with other horse crazy people and you get to go horse camping as well. I ride in pink to promote breast cancer awareness even in the saddle. I also love to take pics and videos when I ride, and my hubby bought me a helmet cam this past Christmas. I guess I am a wanna-be music video person, because I love to put horsie songs to my videos.
www.bitbybit.co.nz - In 1996, Jacqui rode a horse or two once around the country (Aotearoa, or New Zealand for those of you overseas). This is the tale of Jacqui's journey.
www.monarch.org.nz - Monarch Butterfly NZ Trust, fascinating about what they're doing in New Zealand for the North American Monarch Butterfly.
